About the College
K.S.R. College of Engineering, Tiruchengode was established in 2001 under the leadership of Theivathiru. Dr. K. S. Rangasamy, MJF., and continues the legacy of academic excellence under the direction of Thiru. R. Srinivasan, BBM., MISTE., and remains a stronghold of educational prowess in Tamil Nadu, India. The college has earned autonomous status and affiliation with Anna University, Chennai.
Located in the tranquil surroundings of K.S.R. Kalvi Nagar, Tiruchengode. The institution enjoys nearest accessibility through the nearby Erode Junction railway station and Salem Airport, ensuring convenience for students. Accredited with an exemplary A++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and with several programs are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the college upholds the highest standards of academic quality and relevance.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in 2001 and has since become a leading center for higher education, research, and innovation in key areas of computer science. Throughout its history, the department has consistently adapted to the rapidly changing dynamics of the engineering field, equipping students with the necessary skills to stay abreast of the latest developments. The department is committed to providing a cutting-edge learning environment, supported by a dedicated faculty and advanced laboratories that foster both theoretical and practical knowledge.
In response to the growing need for specialized expertise in emerging areas of computer science, the department introduced its M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering programme in 2007. This programme to meet the complex challenges posed by the evolving technology landscape, offering students the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in advanced topics. Recognizing the increasing importance of big data in modern industries, the department also launched the M.E. Big Data Analytics programme in 2024. Both programmes attract talented students from across the country, providing them with the skills necessary to excel in the competitive world of computer science.
The department currently has 32 research scholars who are engaged in a wide range of cutting-edge research projects. These scholars are exploring key areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and big data analytics. The department is deeply committed to fostering an environment that encourages innovation and intellectual curiosity.
